"But this is what I always wanted..." I think thi "But this is what I always wanted..."

I think this is one of the BIGGEST mental blocks when it comes to starting again.

Take it from the girl who dreamt about travel/living abroad since she was 13: Just because something *was* your dream doesn’t mean it always has to fit.

When my visa was denied and I had to leave Budapest, I scrambled to find a way to return abroad. But after 3 months in Washington...I'm finding so much happiness from being home.

You don't have to lock yourself into an identity (or a place or a relationship or a job).

I'm not saying ditch your commitments the second things get hard, I just mean...

If it feels like your world is crashing down because one identity is coming to an end, just remember that life was never "one size fits all". There are so many versions of you yet to come, if you let them🤍

Whew the tricks our minds can playyyy! I think on Whew the tricks our minds can playyyy!

I think one of the biggest things I'm unlearning is the idea that change is linear, or that things will be black and white.

Love how life can let us be totally grateful/melancholy/bewildered all at the same time. If you're also starting again in life, I'm rooting for you!

Whew, because honey, if you're completely starting Whew, because honey, if you're completely starting over in life...😤 been there. You've got this! Here are some prompts you can ask our friend Charlotte! 👇

1. "Based on what you know about me, list 5 strengths I have that will help me in starting over."

2. "What are 5 micro-goals I can set this month to feel progress?"

3. "What small daily wins can I track to rebuild confidence?"

4. "Give me a checklist of things to organize when starting fresh in a new city."

5. "Create a simple financial reset plan for someone starting from scratch."

⭐Bonus ⭐ "List 5 places/groups in (your new town/city) that can help me rebuild my social circle."
